Matzleinsdorf Castle

Also known as "Edelhof", Matzleinsdorf Castle consists of a two-story, box-shaped building from the mid-18th century under a mansard gable roof, which dates back to the mid-16th century at its core. The facade is irregularly fragmented and kept in Baroque style with cornices, pilasters and curved window pediments; on the narrow side there is a Baroque portal with keystones and an original preserved gate wing. On the southern narrow side, the conch of the chapel protrudes, which was built over by a single-story annex with a passage around the mid-19th century. The altarpiece of the chapel, which existed until 1840 and was dedicated to St. John of Nepomuk, is located in the parish church in Zelking.
