Mem Castle

Mem Castle is located in the Tåby parish, Norrköping, Östergötland. The castle is in 3rd November 1572 mentioned in the possession of Esbjörn Pedersson Lilliehöök. 1683 was the castle owned by Eric Bagge. Eric died in 1692 and his son Eric Bagge the Younger inherited the property. He died 1705 at the Battle of Warchau and the castle was inherited by his son Eric Jacob Bagge. The property remained in the family until 1948. On 12 March 1948 bought the Swedish Country Youth (SLU) possession. They renovated the castle. In 1997 the property was sold. The castle was made ​​up in 2001 as a conference hotel. After that bought the family Adler the Castle and it is privately owned.
