Das Schloss wurde 1750-60 von Johann Adam von Öhningen erbaut. Hiernach wechselte der Besitz an die Freiherren von Eyb, welche den Neubau zwischen 1760 und 1763 vollendeten. 1832 wechselte der Besitz an die Herren von Palm, welche 1883 das Schloss um ein Stockwerk erhöhen. Zum Schloss gehören ein See und ein großer Park. Das Schloss ist im Privateigentum und kann nicht besichtigt werden.
