Von Poxreuth zu Meyernberg
Meyernberg grew from the hill down into the valley over the course of its existence. The first mention dates back to 1398 as Poxreuth – but consisted of only a single farm. This was expanded into a manor by Johann Gottlob von Meyern in the mid-18th century and renamed Meyernberg in 1753. The former manor was then expanded into a castle and is now the seat of the City Garden Office.
