Michelbach Castle
The New Schlösschen in Michelbach am Heuchelberg, a district of Zaberfeld in the Heilbronn district in northern Baden-Württemberg, is a stately building from the early Baroque period.
The Schlösschen in Michelbach was built in 1709 on the foundations of an older structure under Johann Bernhard von Sternenfels. The building's portal on the southern eaves side shows the year of construction and the coat of arms of the Lords of Sternenfels. A bricked-up cellar door from 1596 on the western gable side still bears witness to the previous building. The stone gargoyle heads on the building's edges are striking. The building was sold to private owners by the feudal lords in 1771 and today serves as a restaurant.
Nearby there is also a granary building from 1559 and a tithe barn.
