Michelfeld Castle, once a moated castle, is a protected architectural monument in the Kraichgau region. It is a two-story Baroque building and now serves as a private residence.

History+

The construction of Michelfeld Castle took place in 1753. The Lords of Gemmingen-Hornberg were the builders and used the estate as their ancestral seat and the center of their manorial lordship. The roof structure of the building was redesigned in the Neoclassical style, maintaining symmetry with the central axis of the castle.

Michelfeld Castle is located in the Michelfeld district of the municipality of Angelbachtal in the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated at an elevation of approximately 168 meters above sea level.
