Das Schloss von Moutier+
Geschichte+
Das Schloss wurde etwa um 1590 erbaut und diente den Landvögten als Regierungssitz. Es war von einer Mauer und vier Türmen umgeben. 1630 brannte das Schloss teilweise ab. 1737 brannte es erneut und diesmal bis auf die Grundmauern ab. 1740 wurde es in seiner heutigen Form wiederaufgebaut. 1817 kaufte der Bern das Schloss und nutzte es als Sitz für seinen Landvogt von Moutier.
Heute beherbergt das Schloss das Gericht und das Gefängnis von Moutier.
