Neuburg Castle

Schloss Neuburg an der Kammel+
Geschichte+
A predecessor building was already mentioned in a document in 1180 as "Nuinburg". In 1524, ownership changed to the merchants Vöhlin. From 1562-1567, the present Renaissance castle was built by Christoph von Vöhlin. In 1817, ownership changed to the Lords of Aretin, who inhabited the castle until 1984. After this, the castle came into private hands and extensive renovations were carried out. Since 1998, the castle has been used for gastronomy.
