Neuenchieming Castle

The castle was first mentioned around 1500 as the Hofmark Chieming. In 1523, the seat was mentioned as Neuenchieming. On October 1, 1530, the lawyer Nikolaus Riebeisen of Neuenchieming, Chancellor of the Archbishop of Salzburg, bought the castle from the previous Hofmark lord Männdl.
