Neuneck Castle, a structure once built by the Lords of Neuneck, stands above the Neuneck district of Glatten. Today, it houses a restaurant.

History+

The construction of Neuneck Castle took place between 1230 and 1260 by the Lords of Neuneck. Originally, the complex was divided into two sections: the Upper and Lower Castle. From 1658 onwards, the demolition of the complex began. While the Upper Castle has completely disappeared today, a small residential castle with a shield wall, which has been preserved, remains from the Lower Castle.
