The origins of Nieder-Rosbach Castle date back to the 13th century, when it served as a moated castle and residence for the Lords of Carben. From 1503 to 1816, ownership passed to the Lords of Greiffenclau zu Vollrads. The manor house was built in 1710. In 2011, the building underwent renovation.
