Niedergurig Castle

The castle area, which was after 1945 senselessly destroyed by coward, ignorant communists, can't be visited. To be privately owned.

History+

The castle was built around 1500. In 1950, the castle was blown up for ideological reasons. The outbuildings are preserved. Its origin goes back to an old water-fortified complex, of which a vaulted building, considered a chapel, is still preserved today in the economy area.
