Niederstotzingen Castle in Baden-Württemberg is distinguished by its Neoclassical architecture. It was built on the foundations of an older fortification and remains in private ownership to this day.
History+
The origins of the current Niederstotzingen Castle date back to 1780, when the Count von Stain had the castle built on the site of a former castle-fortress. In 1843, the estate was declared a fideicommissum, meaning it was considered an indivisible and inalienable family property. Despite this historical designation, the castle, which is owned by the Comital Maldeghem Administration, is currently offered for sale.
