Notzing Castle was erected in 1510. During the 17th century, the building suffered multiple destructions but was always rebuilt.

Notzing Castle is located in the Notzing district of the municipality of Oberding in the Erding district, Bavaria, Germany. It lies at an elevation of approximately 464 meters above sea level, in a park southwest of the hill where St. Nicholas Church stands.

Today, Notzing Castle is privately owned. It is a rectangular building with a footprint of about 15 by 20 meters. Access is from the east via a bridge that crosses a former moat. A small tower is attached to the southeast side of the castle, while the east and west gables are designed as stepped gables.
