To be privately owned

Oberwalddachsbach came into the possession of the Lords of Abenberg in 1588. The manor house is referred to as a small castle. In 1667, however, this isolated farm was no longer inhabited, so Margrave Christian Ernst of Brandenburg-Bayreuth ordered his castellan from Neustadt to rebuild the desolate and deserted farm with the help of its own woodland belonging to the farm and to sell it. Oberwalddachsbach also frequently changed owners thereafter until the recent past. The current owners have renovated the stately, two-story castle (Weiherhaus) and the associated outbuildings, which were threatened with decay, with great expertise, so that every observer is impressed by this well-maintained property. Oberwalddachsbach has 3 inhabitants.
