Obergimpern Castle, a historic manor, is located in the Obergimpern district of Bad Rappenau in the Heilbronn district, Baden-Württemberg. It emerged from the administrative building of an earlier castle complex and owes its current appearance to the renovations carried out by the Counts of Yrsch, whose descendants still own the property today.

The origins of the estate date back to the 13th or 14th century, when a moated castle existed in the Krebsbach valley as the seat of the local lords. This early complex was probably a fortified wooden house with a moat and rampart. The associated farmstead was located on a hill to the southeast. After the extinction of the Lords of Helmstatt in 1685, the fief was granted by the Electoral Palatinate to the Barons of Yrsch. By 1709, the property was already referred to as a castle, although at that time it resembled more of a farmhouse and served only as the residence for the family's bailiff.
