Oberried Castle (Belp)
In 1736, the Campagne was built on behalf of Victor Fischer. His son, Gottlieb Fischer, expanded the complex and added a large ballroom and the garden. Unique in the Canton of Bern is the Gloriette on the terrace. In 1853, the von Fischer family sold the building, and several changes of ownership followed. Between 2000 and 2001, the building was renovated.
Today, the Campagne Oberried is owned by the von Fischer (von Reichenbach) Family Foundation, whose goal is to promote and host cultural events (concerts, readings, theatre and dance performances).
