Baugeschichte und frühe Nutzung
Das Schloss wurde 1748 durch die Freiherren von Freyberg errichtet. Seit 1879 ist es im Besitz der Kirchenstiftung St. Georg und der Gemeinde Offingen und wurde als Schule und Pfarrhof genutzt. Seit 2001 ist das Schloss im alleinigen Besitz der Kirchenstiftung St. Georg. Es wurde 2002 saniert und wird heute als ausschließlich als Pfarrhof genutzt.
