The origins of Pålsjö Castle date back to the Middle Ages, but its current appearance was shaped by a new construction between 1676 and 1679. Field Marshal Magnus Stenbock used the castle as his headquarters during the Battle of Helsingborg. In the 1760s, the estate was expanded with a French-style park. For a long time, the castle was owned by the Follin family.
