In the Domleschg in the canton of Graubünden, Paspels Castle stands. This complex, also known as Sins Castle, is used as a hotel.

History+

The origins of Paspels Castle likely date back to around 1695, when Johann Viktor Travers von Ortenstein had the structure rebuilt, possibly on the foundations of a previous building. Around 1710, the grand staircase on the south side was added. A redesign took place in 1730 by the builder's son of the same name, creating the staircase and paneled rooms with Régence paintings. Lieutenant General Victor von Travers had a chapel installed in 1760.
