The former Peseckendorf Manor House was built in 1906 by the architect Paul Schultze-Naumburg in a historicizing style. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. After 1945, the house was initially used as a training center for the GDR trade union federation FDGB. After being used as a special needs school home (1969 to 1991), the Paritätische Wohlfahrtsverband Sachsen-Anhalt acquired the buildings and, after extensive renovation, established a youth education center. The complex includes a landscaped park with ponds and a 25 m high water tower from the 19th century.
