The Historic Lambach Castle+
History of the Castle+

The Schlössl was originally owned by the Counts of Lambach. Over the centuries, ownership changed several times: Stift Kremsmünster, the Margraves of Austria, the Bishops of Passau, and in the 13th century, the Lords of Seisenburg. In 1876, the municipality of Pettenbach took over the dilapidated Schlössl. After renovation, it served as the municipal office until 1987, and thereafter as a music school.
