Petzow Castle is located in Petzow, a district of Werder (Havel) in Brandenburg. It combines elements of Moorish castle and English Tudor styles, and is an example of 19th-century architecture. It is in a park landscape designed by Peter Joseph Lenné.

History+

The village of Petzow, first mentioned in 1419, became an official village in 1542. From 1814, the von Kaehne family owned the estate. Friedrich August Kaehne had a manor house built in 1825 according to designs by Karl Friedrich Schinkel. Kaehne was ennobled in 1840. After World War II, in 1945, the owners were expropriated and expelled.
