Pichl Castle
Pichl Castle is located in the Aindling district of Pichl in the Aichach-Friedberg district (Bavaria).
The moated castle on Schloßallee was severely damaged in the Thirty Years' War and rebuilt in the mid-18th century. Pichl Castle can already be found on Philipp Apian's Bavarian land maps around 1560. Until 1980, it belonged to the von Schaezler family. From 1979 to 2011, the moated castle was a therapy center for drug addicts.
