Pöchlarn Castle
The origin of the castle lies in an old fortress from the 10th century. In 1130, the castle was rebuilt. At that time, it was owned by the Lords of Babenberger. Ownership changed in 1576 to Bishop David of Regensburg, in 1823 to the Borsch family, and from 1860 to 1985 to the Baron Tinti family. The current castle dates from the 19th century.
