Pötenitz Castle
The estate was owned by the Eckermann family in 1782. The manor house was rebuilt in the Neo-Gothic style in 1854-57. In 1902, ownership changed to Anton von Brocken, who was dispossessed and expelled by the communists in 1945. After this, the house served as a kindergarten and consumer cooperative. Today, a luxury hotel is to be built.
