Radmannsdorf Castle
Radmannsdorf Castle, also known as Ratmannsdorf Castle, is a structure located in the Styrian district town of Weiz.
History+
The construction of the castle took place between 1555 and 1565 under the direction of Otto von Radmannsdorf. After its completion, it served as a place of activity for the Jesuit Order from 1623 to 1773. In 1782, the property changed hands and was acquired by Count Khevenhüller-Metsch von Thannhausen. Another phase was its use as a military cadet school from 1842 to 1858. Since 1859, the castle has been owned by the municipality of Weiz and today houses the district court.
