Rammersdorf Castle

The origins of Rammersdorf Castle are closely linked to the year 1713, as evidenced by a sandstone coat of arms of the Barons von Eyb. It is a three-story building with a hip roof, surrounded by a wide, rubble-stone-lined moat. A three-axis central risalit with Ionic pilasters characterizes the facade, while a round-arched portal with a pilaster projection forms the entrance. Inside, there is a staircase from the construction period with heavy wooden balusters and remnants of frame stucco. A two-arched bridge made of ashlar leads over the moat to sandstone gate pillars, which were likely built at the same time as the castle.
