Rammersdorf Castle

Moated castle with a wide, rubble-stone-lined moat and wall. Three-story castle building with 7 × 5 axes, hip roof, dormer windows and a loading dormer on the east, and a renewed roof turret with an onion dome. On the facade side, a three-axis central risalit with colossal Ionic pilaster order in the two upper floors; on the flanking axes, double pilaster strip articulation (the latter also on the narrow sides). Round-arched portal with pilaster and console projection for a former balcony on the first floor. Windows of the first floor eared, the middle one with a raised straight pediment; above it, a sandstone coat of arms of the Barons von Eyb, dated 1713. Inside, a staircase from the time of construction with a balustrade of heavy wooden balusters and remnants of frame stucco. Over the castle moat, a two-arched bridge of ashlar blocks; above it, sandstone gate pillars, probably contemporary with the castle building. South of the castle, a terraced park surrounded by rubble stone walls.
