In Hüttenfeld, a district of Lampertheim, stands Rennhof Castle, a structure in the Empire style. Today, it serves as the location for a Lithuanian Gymnasium and houses apartments.

History+

The construction of Rennhof Castle was completed by the end of 1853 under the patronage of the Frankfurt Baron Mayer Carl von Rothschild. In 1889, the estate passed into the possession of the von Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg family. Later, in 1917, the Worms industrialist family of Baron von Heyl zu Herrnsheim acquired the castle.
