Rönneholm Castle

Castle Ronne Holm located in the parish Stehags Eslov. The estate belonged to the 15th Century family Laxmand. Beginning of the 16th Century the ownership changed by marriage to Jorgen Hondorff. 1681 the ownership changed to Nils Cronacker and later by marriage to Colonel Christian Magnus Coyet. In 1811, the present castle was built in the Renaissance style, on the walls of a previous. 1882 a third floor was added. Until 1918 the castle was owned by the family. Since the beginning of the 20th Century, the castle was used as a hospital. In 1999 the castle was renovated and now serves as a conference center.
