Rössjöholm Castle
Rössjöholm Castle lies in the parish Tåssjö in Ängelholm. First known owner of Rössjöholm (Rydtzeholm) was in 1500 the Danish knight Olof Geed. Later inherited the possession his granddaughter Karen Geed. She built on the ruins of an old castle a castle. Thereafter the property transferred to the families Leijonsköld, Silfverskiöld, Sjöcrona and Other. 1696, the castle was rebuilt. Governor Nils Silfverschiöld bought 1705 the property. The castle burned down in 1730 and was thereafter rebuilt. Since 1857 belongs to the estate of the Danish family Rosenørn-Lehn.
