Schlatt unter Krähen Castle

The origins of the castle date back to before 1539, when Hans Ernst von Reischach had an initial residential complex built. Between 1592 and 1598, after Hans Ludwig von Bodman acquired the lordship of Schlatt, a country house was erected on this site. Ownership changed hands multiple times. These included the von Raitenau family (1606-1619), the Ebinger von der Burg family (1619-1785), the Lenz von Lenzenfeld family (1785-1790), and again the von Bodman family (1790-1816). From 1816, the castle returned to the possession of the von Reischach family. Through adoption, the inheritance later passed to the Counts Douglas of the Langenstein line. Today, Robin Graf Douglas von Reischach is the owner.
