Schnarchenreuth Castle is located in Hof, Bavaria. Originally a knight's seat with extensive rights, it now stands as a structure from bygone eras.

History+

The construction of Schnarchenreuth Castle was completed in 1745. Until around 1790, the locality was known as Schnergereuth and served as a knight's seat with its own jurisdiction. From 1812 onwards, the Schnarchenreuth manor came into the possession of the von Koch family. In June 2004, the artist Norbert Diehl, also known as Johnny B. Good, acquired the property with the intention of transforming the then-decaying estate into a cultural center.
