In 1297, a "Lazerus de Trüns", descended from the Lords of Vellenberg, is mentioned for the first time. He resided in the "Sneburg" from 1307 to 1337. His sons Konrad, Heinrich, Lazarus II, and Lambert are also mentioned multiple times in documents.
