A predecessor building is already mentioned in the 15th century. In 1720, ownership changed to the Schorr von Hassel family, in 1772 to the Countess of Forbach, in 1829 to Benoit August Alexandre Jacomin de Malespine, in 1904 to the city of Zweibrücken and in 1935 to the Bayerische Siedlungsgesellschaft. In 1829, a classical renovation took place. Around 1970, the towers were demolished.
