Seewis Castle
In the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland, Seewis Castle now houses the municipal administration. Originally built in the 17th century, it was rebuilt after a fire.
History+
Seewis Castle was constructed in 1630. In 1690, the building underwent an expansion, giving it high Baroque forms. The village fire of 1863 destroyed the castle. After its reconstruction, a monument was erected in front of the castle in 1902, commemorating the conflicts of 1622.
