In the municipality of Seibersdorf in Lower Austria stands Seibersdorf Castle, a remarkable Renaissance castle. This three-story building, characterized by its castle-like appearance, is centrally located in the village and is surrounded by a former moat, accessible via a stone bridge. The wrought-iron gate, flanked by two obelisks, forms the entrance to the castle courtyard.

The construction of the castle is presumed to have taken place in the 16th century, with no earlier structures known. In 1594, Georg Leonhard and Rudolf von Stoitzing were the owners. In the 17th century, ownership passed to Franz Graf Nadasdy von Pottendorf. Following his execution, the castle changed hands to Niklas Palffy, Count of Erdőd, and shortly thereafter to Julius Friedrich Graf Busselini. During the Turkish Wars around 1683, the castle remained unharmed. In 1709, Christoph Ernst Graf Fuchs von Bimbach acquired the estate.
