Sickendorf Castle in Lauterbach, a structure of late 19th-century architecture, today houses a restaurant and the Lauterbach Golf Club e. V.

The original castle, part of a Riedesel estate, was destroyed by fire in 1882. Between 1886 and 1887, Baron Albrecht Georg Karl Woldemar Riedesel undertook its reconstruction.
