Sielhof Castle in Neuharlingersiel, Lower Saxony, is a historic building. Originally a stone structure, it was transformed into a noble residence at the end of the 19th century and now serves as a cultural center.

History+

The origins of Sielhof date back to 1755, when Siebelt Frerichs Eymen had a two-story stone building erected on this site. Around 1825, the estate came into the possession of the Eucken family. Between 1899 and 1906, a descendant of the original owner carried out renovations in the style still visible today, transforming the building into a noble residence with surrounding parkland. A renovation was carried out in 1967. In 1989, the local community of Neuharlingersiel acquired the castle and has since used it for cultural purposes and as a hub for visitors.
