In 1553, the noble family von Nostitz, based in Lusatia, acquired the manor and erected the Renaissance castle here in 1557. It is a closed four-wing building with a small inner courtyard. In 1729, Friedrich Caspar Graf von Gersdorff rebuilt the castle.
