St. Jakob Castle

The so-called "Tower of St. Jakob" presumably dates from the 12th or 13th century. It was the seat of the Salzburg ministerial family of Thurn. In 1538, a Jörg Khnoll is mentioned as administrator "zum Thurn". In 1572, an Andree Pleialter "zum Thurn in der Hofmark" dies.
