Stauffenberg Castle in Lautlingen, a district of Albstadt in Baden-Württemberg, is an estate known for its connection to the Stauffenberg family. Although the main building dates from the 19th century, the ensemble includes its late medieval enceinte wall and corner towers.

History+

The current three-story main building of the castle was constructed in 1846. Today, it appears rather simple, although it once featured a coat of arms on its north side. The arrangement of the staircase on the south side and the living quarters on the cooler north side suggests Italian-influenced architecture.
