Stavenhagen Castle

Schloss Stavenhagen is a plastered building constructed around 1740, which was extended with a round stair tower around 1890. The complex served as a school until the 1970s and is now the administrative seat and registry office of Stavenhagen.

The original building from 1740 is a prime example of Baroque architecture, characterized by its symmetrical facade and elegant proportions. The addition of the round stair tower in 1890 introduced elements of historicism, blending seamlessly with the existing structure while adding a distinctive vertical accent.

From Noble Residence to Public Institution
