Tannhausen Castle

A moated castle is already mentioned in 1228 as being in the possession of the Lords of Tannhausen. Over the centuries, the property was exposed to many wars and fires, burning down three times in 1567, 1621, and 1649. The building acquired its current appearance in the years after 1767. During the last war from 1939–1945, Thannhausen Castle was spared from destruction.
