Taubenheim Castle

Schloss Taubenheim+
Taubenheim Castle was first mentioned in 1551. Until 1612, Taubenheim was owned by the von Miltitz family. Ownership changed to the von Erler family in 1612. From 1764 onwards, there were frequent changes of ownership. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. After this, the castle served as a rural school home, a TB sanatorium, and since 1974 as a nursing home. Today it stands empty.
