Frühe Geschichte und Mittelalter

The Teutschenthal estate is first mentioned in the 9th century as Dussina. The castle was built on the walls of a previous building in 1883-85 by Karl Franz Hugo Frede. The owner was Carl Wentzel (1875-1944). In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. His grandchildren have taken over the castle, which is now used as a hotel.
