In Brandenburg stands Tornow Castle, a Neo-Gothic edifice that today houses an educational institution. The castle, once the center of an estate village, is now a boarding school and private school.

History+

The history of Tornow is linked to the von Buch family, who owned the estate village until 1945. An earlier manor house was destroyed by fire in 1726. Later, after 1883, this building was demolished. However, the current manor house had already been constructed before that. The designs for this Neo-Gothic building originated from Georg Daniel, the then court architect from Strelitz.
