Gutsdorf Tornow

Tornow was a manor village until 1945, owned by the von Buch family for centuries. The first verifiable manor house burned down in 1726 and was demolished after 1883. Before that, the new manor house, which still stands today, had been built. The plans for the stately Neo-Gothic building are attributed to the then Strelitz court architect Georg Daniel.

Current Use

Since 1993, the manor house has served as a non-governmental educational institution with overnight accommodation. The Templar Commandery Tornow is located in the vicinity (barn building).
