Trollenäs Castle is located in the Swedish municipality of Eslöv. Originally known as the Näs estate, it is located between two streams.

History+

The origins of the Näs estate can be traced back to the 14th century. In 1559, the current castle was built by Tage Ottesen Thott. A change occurred in 1682 when the property came into the possession of the noble Trolle family, which also led to its renaming as Trollenäs Castle. Towards the end of the 19th century, the castle underwent renovation by the Danish architect Ferdinand Meldahl, who transformed it into a Renaissance castle in the French style.
