Uhenfels Castle, a private estate, is an example of late 19th-century castle architecture in Baden-Württemberg. It is located at approximately 680 meters above sea level near Bad Urach-Seeburg.

History+

The castle's origins trace back to 1872, when Court Marshal Ernst Wilhelm Friedrich von Hayn commissioned its construction. His father had previously acquired the Uhenhof, on whose grounds the castle was built. From 1899, it became the residence of Gabriel and Lucie Warburg, parents of the banker Siegmund G. Warburg.
