Unterschneidheim Castle

With the secularization of the German Order in 1805, Horneck Castle passed into the possession of the Kingdom of Württemberg. It was subsequently used for various purposes, including as a prison and a hospital.

In the 19th century, the castle was acquired by private owners and converted into a residential castle. Further architectural changes were made during this period, which shaped the castle's current appearance.

Today, Horneck Castle is privately owned and is used as a conference and event center. The historic premises offer a unique setting for various occasions. The castle is also open to the public for guided tours, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in its fascinating history.
